That expects you
As a trainee, you will gain in-depth insight into the Commercial division over a period of 24 months.
You will complete two department assignments in the Marketing & Digital department and contribute your knowledge and know-how to the Commercial Marketing and Customer Experience & Digital Design teams for twelve months each. You spend about 70% of your working time in each of these teams. For the remaining 30%, you can apply to other internal projects to participate in other marketing projects (corporate marketing, sales advertising & promotions and new business & digitization) and thus gain valuable experience for your future career.
For your personal development, you will take part in varied seminars and internal workshops. The exchange and contact with representatives from different business areas and departments enable you to build up a comprehensive company network. You will be supported and supervised by experienced mentors. Motivated buddies accompany and support you in our day-to-day business.

The Commercial division is responsible for the support of the commercial centers, landside traffic and marketing. The area creates an attractive shopping, gastronomy and service experience on both the air and land side and operates the second largest shopping center in Switzerland in terms of sales. Other tasks include overall responsibility for the parking and mobility offering and landside development, as well as overall marketing and branding of the airport.
The Marketing & Digital department is responsible for the brand image of Flughafen Zürich AG across all touchpoints (analogue and digital). The aim is to position Zurich Airport as a strong and credible brand. This is to be ensured with the help of targeted marketing activities (campaigns, promotions and advertising) and a strong customer experience on the digital channels.
Main tasks Marketing:
- Implementation and assurance of a uniform corporate image both internally and externally
- Service provider for Flughafen Zürich AG, with advice and graphic implementation of various advertising materials and printed matter
- Marketing and management of all promotional and advertising space at Zurich Airport
- Development and implementation of campaigns to promote and promote Airport Shopping, Airside Center and the Circle
- Planning, implementation and further development of 360° communication across all channels
Main tasks Digital:
- Ensuring a high-quality and consistent customer experience on the digital channels, so that the customer experience is constantly improving and Zurich Airport becomes more attractive as a location
- Testing, developing and operating new features and products for users of the digital touchpoints in order to offer new options that simplify and enrich the stay at Zurich Airport
- Development and operation of the Data Marketplace, a data platform that enables all airport partners to develop new business models and optimize processes
- Management of the innovation process of digital topics and start-ups
