Transit Hotel & Dayrooms

When making reservations by telephone or email, please provide us with the following information:

• Last names, first names
• Arrival and departure dates including times and flight numbers
• Type and duration of accommodation

The Transit Hotel is located next to Gates D, 1st floor at the non-Schengen area (no visa needed). The Transit Hotel’s reception is manned round the clock.

The boarding pass and security check are open until 22:30, and passport control until 23:00 and as of 5:30 (access possible only with a boarding card and only with hand luggage).

Please note that access to and from the Transit Hotel is not possible from the Schengen area between 23:00 and 5:30

We are happy to heat your children’s meals in our microwave. Baby and children’s things (pacifiers, baby bottles, spare cloths) are available for emergencies. Baby bed,  baby care products and diapers can be obtained free of charge. We offer baby menus at standard prices.

Disposable toothbrush, disposable razors, ear plugs, blindfolds and extra towels are available at reception. 

Toothpaste, comb, hairbrush, and slippers can be bought at the reception. Shower gel and shampoo are provided in each shower. 

Travel sets with various care products in permitted travel size are available at reception for CHF 15.00. 

On request, we will be happy to lend you a bathrobe for CHF 10.00 (also available for purchase for CHF 50.00)

Rooms: To stop the wake-up alarm, please press the stop button provided for this purpose in your room.

Couches: on request we will give you an alarm clock with the desired time set.
